This just allows a whole new level of spam, slightly harder but will make drop bullets possible.

bullets fired up reach a velocity of zero and only fall as fast as gravity. sooooo no spamming bullets straight up for sure. thats why we were helmets.

to be effective they would have to be fired at really low angles, like less than 50 degrees.

You would also have to take into account air density, humidity, wind direction etc. Spamming up with bullets won't hit the guy behind the stairs but some guy several maps over would get one hell of a surprise. LOL (Assuming that was even possible.) Big Grin

I was just about to say. Myth Busters for the win.

I'm sure some spam will still be possible, just a lot more challenging, and probably only effective at certain ranges.

From what I have heard, the maps are gonna be a lot larger than they are right now. Just looking at the few Bridge pictures they have shown us, the bridge looks like its bloody long. Still haven't been able to figure out if there is anything similar to mid tower though.

I just hope this fileplanet thing is a second or later stage of the Beta, and that they have already been testing for a while with some other people.

Closed beta has been going on for about a month, they said they would do a public beta later but I doubt it.

Edit: I wasn't saying you could do dropshots with bullets, but you proably still spam by raising the angle of your gun to adjust for bullet spam, as done in real life to hit targets at long distance.

As for things like humidity, I think you're forgetting that this is a game, a game that has so many flaws that even gun jams aren't properly implemented.
