Sooo a little unorthodox topic, but...
I have a friend who basically is a leech off of their neighbor's unprotected wireless signal. However, she has issues with downloading and shit on it because of dropped signal and the like (go figure). What I wanted to ask was if anyone knows how to possibly make the computer... um... "more receptive" to the weak signal? Or sensitive to it? | |||

coil wire in a pringles can and attach it to the antena, point it towards their house, make a small and basic directional antena....

yeah a beter antenna usually works
and ask us neighbour to install beter antenna on the modem/router
