During anything graphics intensive, screen will go black for 5-10 secs, and then I get the previous error. Anyone know a fix for this that actually works? Everything on Nvidia's site tries to blame it on user error, i.e. incompatible hardware/old drivers/ or a power supply to small for the rig. And the only other solution I can find is to underclock, which is just retarded... I didn't drop over 2 grand to underclock my rig.

Re: Display driver issues.
Download the 185 drivers from nvidia. Theyre pretty smooth.

Re: Display driver issues.
Started having the problem after updating to the 185 drivers, it however has continued since back tracking to 165 drivers. I'm currently trying every driver since 2006 to see if I can find one that works for me. And no @ dreamscene.

Did you remove the drivers properly? With drivercleaner or whatever the name was...

No the first time, and then tried again updating after a system restore thinking that was maybe the mistake.

Read my name, then think back to episodes including that character... it makes sense. :-\
