Whew.
Well, after the tourney finished I figured I'd play around a bit and install Ubuntu. Don't know if I grabbed a bad cd of it or what, but it would not install for anything. Wouldn't install in windows either. Looked like the file paths were wrong. Ah well, fine. Ok, grabbed OpenSuse 11.1 installed that. Very different. My stupid alarm started going off immediately. Took me 30 mins to figure out how to install the video card drivers. =p~ Ok, updated, updated updated, reboot. Uhoh, can't find 1 hard drive and now won't boot. Just goes to a linux command prompt. Of which of course, I've forgotten all commands. Uhoh! Shit, can't get into XP, Win 7 OR Linux. :-s :-w Fark! Ok, find Win 7 dvd, boot off that, restore from yesterday, takes FOREVER! Still no proper boot up. Sigh, reboot with Win 7 cd again, hit F8 and boot off different drive letter, gives me a different Grub or Lilo thingy, and away I go. Fix all mbr's and backup boot stuff, edit, save, reboot. All good. #:-s Now, I just gotta play with the partitions to get rid of Linux entirely. Installed VMWare a few days ago, maybe I'll try to install Ubuntu that way.

Re: Whew.
I couldn't get Kubuntu to install on my partition either, gave up on it cause I didn't want to fuck up everything.

Re: Whew.
Coool, think I'll fire up VMWare and put 'em both in. I like Ubuntu, the looks, and it seemed a SHITLOAD easier than opensuse. Now, right now, I've got XP Pro and Win 7 build 7100 up and running. Both are working great. On vmware, I've got another version of XP Pro (Vienna) running on that. All updated and shit. Now, I'm assuming that because it's a virtual OS, that's why I can't install install vid drivers for it, correct? And if needed, is there a way to make the virtual os (Vienna) an actual partition? Ie, just copy it as an OS to different partition/drive and make it active?
