Finally Some Good News

I know I have been away a lot as of late. I have been traveling with work. However thru all of this i have news that is good for me.

Alex has finally proposed....... I didn't think it would ever happen......

I was overseas...... somehow he managed to get an emergency travel request for me to return to DC....... when i landed he was waiting on the flight line for me... took me out for a night on the town.... and proposed.... when i asked him what the fuck took so long.... he replied.... "I didn't know what you would day, I have never done this before." i smacked him upside the back of his head.... The next day I was back on a plane going back to where I was before he pulled his little stunt.


So. we are planning Mid-September - Octoberish to get married.... I seriously doubt I am gonna be able to get out of a big wedding.... which i really don't want.... but if his family doesn't start listening to more of what he and I want..... we both agree.... we will just run off and get married...


Only major problem with his family is they are mostly democrats *Poke at the democrats around here*

Small weddings are the way to go, Angel. I've been to enough to know that having 200 people is only going to stress out both parties involved, and somebody usually makes an ass of themselves embarrassing one side of the family.

But Angel, my love... does he know about you and me? And for the record, because you ARE getting married, it will be ok, to cut me down to 2 or 3 times a week. My wife cut me back to twice a week. It's not so bad... I know three guys she cut back to ONCE a week...!

All kidding aside, sweetie; just remember that marriages are a partnership, not a competition. Allow him to fill in your weak areas, and you do the same for him. Remember to talk TO him and not AT him, and PLEASE! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD... don't drop hints... don't expect him to "know what you mean"... don't be coy and demur... just tell him what the hell it is that you want!

If you tell us that you have, "Too much to do, and not enough time.." Don't expect us to help. Expect us to hire an 18 year old Korean girl with no morals, to help you with the housework. We solve problems, we don't read minds...
