Playing MIDI issues

Playing MIDI issues
I use GuitarPro 5 for playing along with midi versions of tabs. It always plays. Recently, I opened a midi file with Windows Media Player. Now, GP won't play GP files' midi audio. The only way I can get it to work is to open WMP and play a midi, click to the end and press play on GuitarPro while the WMP file plays. Almost like it's "activating" it.

Any ideas how I can fix this? It's really irritating...

Re: Playing MIDI issues
Step 1) Delete guitar pro

Step 2) Install Tabit ( you should know where to find these things by now Wink )
Raise your right hand, and repeat after me.
I do solemnly swear,
To run like a Kenyan.
Teabag mofos.
And shoot 'em in the dick.

Re: Playing MIDI issues
Dude no, I LOVE guitar pro lol

I've never heard of Tabit, though. I'm intrigued. I've only heard of PowerTab and GuitarPro. I hate PT...

Re: Playing MIDI issues
Tabit is guitarpro without the bloat. You know those little timing issues that happen when GP pages down? Doesn't happen with tabit.

Check it out

Full versions of this can be found elsewhere on the internet.
