Teo, I must say that your thread here ASTOUNDS me. I do agree with you though (if I understand you post correctly).
The language has gotten more crude and at times insensitive to others.
How many times I whip around and stare someone down, young and old, who use the FUCK word in disregard to the elderly, choldren, wives and families
who may be standing nearby. If thats freedom of speech than my "freedom of speech" is to punch one in the mouth next time, thats MY WAY of communication.

see goldy... who gives a fuck about the word fuck... it is OUR society that decided that 4 letters strung together is a foul word...

here is an example..

buck = not bad
duck = not bad
fuck = bad
luck = not bad
muck = not bad
puck = not bad
ruck = not bad
suck = not bad
tuck = not bad
yuck = not bad

(I may have missed a few letters that were actual words, however you get the idea..)

what makes those words all socially acceptable except fuck.... it is simply the fact that over the past several hundred years it has gone from socially acceptable to unacceptable and back and forth again several times.. based simply on who is determining social acceptance for that generation / era
