IDK, I think utorrent has a similar feature. If you want to be on the safe side, usenet is the way to go. SSL encryption Big Grin.

Re: anyone familiar with transmissions torrent downloader?
=)) I was waiting for that. I keep saying it cause no one fucking listens. If you want to download and don't want the feds to come after you and your cable/dsl company to know what you're downloading then go with usenet. Usenet is not one company, btw so I'm not advocating you go buy something from some specific company.

I agree with Hades. Usenet (gotta pay) is wicked fast, excellent retention (cuz you're paying) and you can usually find older stuff too. For free, you can't beat mirc. with the xdcc klipper addon. All new stuff is usually being served by dedicated high speed bots, queue up your game/movie/app/whatever, forget about it, do whatever, come back, check, yup, already done. And it's free! :-o B-)

When I get Vent set up again, I can walk you through it if you like. Vent works fine with Win 7 64 bit right? It was just CDC that was fux0red right?

Re: anyone familiar with transmissions torrent downloader?
i got rid of cdc, everything has been working fine for me in windows 7. Had trouble installing Daemon tools once but never bothered trying again cause I haven't needed to use it so far but that's pretty much it.

-- Sat Nov 07, 2009 1:48 pm --

edit: I got my ss's fixed too, even when I restart the game and shit they're fine. Windows 7 ftw I think.
