Been playing the 360 version for a few days, singleplayer is awesome and so is the co-op sf thing. Can't play online yet cause I don't wanna get banned. So is anyone planning on getting the PC version? Well, I said fuck it, and finally got a PS3, was smart enough to wait till November 3rd to get the 250 gig version. $350 cdn. So, of course, I get another controller, the hdmi cables, the blue ray remote thingy, Fallout 3 GOTY edition, Deadspace (fucking freaky!) that uncharted 2 game, and ummm, rainbow 6 vegas 2. Have only tried Deadspace so far, but I'll tell ya, with the cables, and a Sony HDTV, friggin' amazing graphics, damn games already scared me, only played it 10 mins. First time the controller shook, I just about dropped it. :ymblushing:

But yeah, I'll definately be getting the new COD, assassins creed 2, and probably NHL's newest from EA. Now, umm, the online stuff, do I have to pay for that? Again, I hooked everything up, set up the basics, played 10 mins, then was off to darts. So, I'm UBERN00B on PS3. Oh yeah, gotta grab Shift too. Can't wait for the next Gran Turismo game. Any other games/accessories I should get?

Nah, you don't have to pay to play online for the PS3. You only have to pay for some stuff that you download, if you choose to download it.

Uncharted 2 = fucking amazing.

I would've gotten a PS3 if I had the money, it's def. the better console. But Xbox can be hacked = free games Big Grin

that almost makes up for the 1000 problems you get with it (I've opened the 360 so many times I think I can disassemble it in my sleep now).

I was really excited to get MW2 for PC until all this business about the lack of dedicated servers, mod support, and a console. Instead, I'll get it for PS3 'cause the single player storyline in all the COD games is awesome. Oh, and Uncharted 2 is off the chains.

So.. playing this nearly 2 weeks before it was released wasn't a good idea, even offline. Checked my console last night and I was banned from Xbox Live, took them nearly a year to find out the console was hacked but it was fun while it lasted (can still play offline though).

Getting the Skidrow release on PC, apparently you can play online without a cd key, will try and post the results soon. Anyone interested?
