It's pretty good, only played an hour of it. The climbing and running has been improved, thank god and the game moves faster. They have also made other minor adjustments that reduce the repetitiveness (i.e. after failing a mission you don't have to run back to the person who gave it to you to redo it).

Funniest part so far is when your running errands for your characters mother:
You have to escort her to Da Vinci's home at which point she starts to comment on Leo's great artistic talent and says Ezio should also find an outlet. "I have plenty of outlets!" Ezio counters. "I mean besides vaginas," deadpans his mother.
