Well I didn't have time to play this yest. but I was wondering, does this have some sort of story to it? So should I play L4D 1 before this? or is it just a random story line where you just kill zombies?

There was no storyline in l4d1. You started out at some random place with all 4 characters and was one of them was like "We should head South and follow the railroad." Then after 5 chapters you would get rescued.

Yeah L4D2 is kinda gay, imho. I was hoping it would be kinda fun but it gets boring after the first hour or 2, played split screen on xbox360.

Umm, I have it installed, on hd, ready to go, haven't tried it yet, still playing DAO. I enjoyed the first one though, and expect the same from this one.

The new zombies made the game a lot faster paced, however they seemed to hurt the old zombies. The skimped on climb points making hunter a lot harder to play and nerfed the range on the boomer. Charger sucks since you get shrugged off more than you actually grab people, spitter is overpowered, jockey is the only new zombie that is balanced. The only real issue I have with the game though, is the combination of extremely loud zombie class types and the ability to shoot through walls. I've been called out for hacking numerous times (had the game for a 3-4 days) for blasting people through walls cause they make so much damn noise just idling.

Summary - This should not have been a separate game, but simply an expansion to the first. It isn't worth the current $50-60 if you already own the first.

Valve will always release new games instead of patching, their customer base is very loyal and they know it. Samething with IW and MW2, they could do w/e they want a game and ppl will still buy it.

Tried it last night, so far all it does is crash. I assume that's the "version" I have and not the actual game itself.

Borderlands is 100x better than L4D2.
