Interesting little game, free of charge (unless you want ridiculous gear), not a lot of people playin' it though.
Reminds me of Combat Arms, with CS style graphics, and 400% less hackers. Spawn based modes of play, and round based modes of play. Some of the maps are eerily similar to AA 2.x maps. They have a bridge, a tunnel map that's a LOT like collapsed tunnel, a map similar to pipeline/weapons cache in one, and a map that looks like river basin. <a class="postlink" href="http://op7.netgame.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://op7.netgame.com</a>

I know. The maps SCREAM AA2.x. Most of 'em have a minimal amount of fog, and the character motion is a lot like CS, jump shots, lean walk, rapid crouch, etc. No prone feature though, that's my only complaint with this game.

thats what i did, works fine

downloading the patch now, hopefully it works, my computer ran AA 2.xx slow but steady
