Raise your right hand, and repeat after me.
I do solemnly swear,
To run like a Kenyan.

Hey I've been to that tiny country just west of there (Benin)... Irrelevant I know, but I thought I'd share. A kid tried to sell me a monkey, but I wouldn't have been able to sneak past customs with it.

So yea, scam emails...

Re: another scam fail
1.) You buy the monkey.
2.) Kid walks away with the money.
3.) Once you get home the monkey starts stashing expensive but small items.
4.) Monkey makes a break for it once he has a chance to go.
5.) Monkey goes back to the kid with your stuff.
6.) You have no idea what happened until it's too late.

^ Believe it or not this seriously happens, people train monkeys and parrots to steal stuff then come back to them.

Well if I had bought that monkey AND brought it back to the US, that kid would've had a hard time getting the monkey back. I definitely haggled a lot of those people though, trying to sell stuff for outrageous prices.

And what seems legit, the monkey or the picture?

Re: another scam fail
I think he meant the kid just holding a monkey in his arm and walking around trying to sell it is a bit ridiculous/weird (at a loss for a better word atm)??

That monkey isn't legit, and I can prove it:

Re: another scam fail
Scams..

I almost got scammed for 1200 bucks. When I went to Stockholm I was looking for a room, found a room and contacted the person who was "renting" the room out.

After suspicious pictures of the room, and asking me to send the money with Western Union I found out on the internet that he was a scammer.

I even spoke to him on the phone.

When I found out, I called him again. Started talking dutch to him. Only thing he could say was: I do now know what you are talking about sir...

Informed western union about this... LMAO Theyre reply was: Sorry sir, we cannot help you with this. Sending money threw western union is anonymous. blablabla.

fuck that.
Hey dumbass! I'll find your childhood pet, dig it up, and eat that son of a bitch! Then I'll superman punch your grandmother so hard her colostcomy bag will explode all over your old family photos!
