Wife and I spent the whole day at the hosp for pre-op testing. Weds morning is her operation so I
will be scarce (not gone) for the first few days. The surgeon promised to take pics of her kidneys which I will post.

My wifes operation is done.
23 lb kidneys were removed along with alot of fluid.
9 hr surgery.
12 liters of fluids infused in her.
Port inserted in her jugular artery for dialysis.

She is still in revovery room, intibated and a suction line still in place
until tomorrow. She will be transferred to ICU next.
Im home until 8am and wil by her side from then on. I will be back forums
Sunday night.

Its all done. On June 30th the operation was performed and it was
considered one of the BEST transplants the team has had. The only minor hitch was trying to get my kidney out past my lower abdominal muscles. They said that for a small guy I had alot of muscle in that area.
(thank you Angel, those are my "thrust" muscles) lol

There is NO sign of rejection and her creatine level measures 1.0 consistent. Normal range is .9 to 1.2. May 1st Carolyn weighed 182lbs
and is now a FINE 134lbs blonde nymph !!!!!!!!!! ZOMFG

Talk about "ball-bra" ????? The surgeon gave me a script for one since
my left nut had its gonadal vein cut and clipped causeing it to swell and
is sore as hell !!!! They said this will pass since collateral veins will form
relieving the pressure.

FINALLY, channel 7 eyewitness news is going to interview us !!!!
Im gonna be a movie star. lol
