Yeah, activity has been slowing down more and more on the forums over the past 6 months to a year.

I'm thinkin' the answer lies in a combination of THANNYs playing less, and less people playing either incarnation of AA overall.
AA2 has 100-200 players on it at any given time. 3.0 has approximately 500 at peak -- mid 300s is typical.
People are reluctant to update their hardware to play 3.0 since it doesn't work correctly (still).

Myself? Counting down the days until BF3 gets released.
So far, Gaydeez, Dutch prostitute, and Enforcer of rainbows are also on board with this game.
I anticipate everyone's favorite drunken Canadian to join as well when he gets things sorted out with RL.

There has been a release of BF3, just has not been cracked yet. Ofcourse 99% will buy the game for the MP, but shit... if theres a crack imma do some SP action before the game comes out here.
