Ok, been busy while I was on vacation. Lotsa drishing (that's drinking combined with fishing) it's a Canuckian thing. Lotsa gaming. Ok, here's we goes.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction. Damn, that's a mouthful! Well, started and finished in 1 sitting. Very cool game, nice eye candy, interesting story, kinda cool to hang out a window and pop guys in the noggin as their verbally wondering where the fick you went. Nice graphics, intuitive controls, not too much of the stupid don't make a peep missions. You CAN go in guns blazing.

Kane and Lynch 2. Again, cool game, still playing it. Nice graphics, kinda first 3rd person shooter with a not bad story. Nice graphics, good controls, has a sense of humour about itself too.

NFS World. Installed this a few days ago, it's FREE! And surprisingly fun. The racings ok, you level up in a not too fast, not too slow way. Racing/graphics/controls are all good. Best part is the pursuits though, it's one of the things I missed about the last few NFS games. It's back, and it's still as fun as hell to ram the cops into oblivion.

Lord of the Rings Online. Again, installed a few days ago. it's FREE! 10.5 gig download for the HD version! Holy shit, took like 8 hours or something. Very nice graphics, better be for 10.5 gigs! Little buggy, ie, you'll just stop for a min and look like you're stuck in quicksand, then it goes again. I'm assuming that's the servers just being overloaded because the game is now FREE and more people are playing it. Good level progression, nice graphics, interesting story, and yes, you WILL get your ass kicked. One of the things that really set this game apart is the music. Certain area's the music changes dramatically and you know you're in a HOLY SHIT I JUST CRAPPED MYSELF SITUATION! Really makes a big difference in the game play. The people playing are usually quite helpful, if you're a total nub like myself and are too lazy to read any instructions. ie, how do I craft a rowan bow thingy? Does my horse poop a lot? Where's the hobbit hookers? Am I supposed to be upside down? etc. They're generally quite helpful. Again, it's FREE!

Saboteur, good game, nice graphics, took me like 2 days to finish, will play it again.

Mafia 2. Great game! Big problem! WAY TOO SHORT! And when your'e done, you can't run around and do stuff. I heard there's a dlc out that changes that though. Amazing graphics, got AAO and PHYSX and all the eye candy cranked, very nice looking game, excellent sound. Irritating radio, old music, some clunky camera angles, but still a fun game.

Yea, you got a free roam mod for Mafia II out there.

The dlc sucks. Im not gonna spend my time playing that. I've heard theyve just fit another face on vito's body. Hilarious. So cheap.

The game self is awesome.. loved the graphics aswell... but MAN THEY fucked it up big time by leaving shit out.

I'm guessing they've got some sort of OC3 fiber hookup going on, most big colleges/universities do. It does have certain issues, i.g. can't torrent/download illegal stuff (not that I have done so or plan to, ever).

But still sweet with that ping and up/down rate, considering distance to test site and all.

You might want to look into a proxy for that stuff. IE, telnet in. That's how I used to do it. Back in the days of the dinosaurs and stuff. FTP direct transfers maybe?
