Well, my IPhone was stolen. Contacted Rogers, had it disabled, told them I want a new IPhone 4G, not available in Canada yet. Sigh. Ok, well, send me something to use in the meantime. Ok, I receive a PINK! Yes, Pink Blackberry Pearl Flip thingy, 8220. Totally useless for data, as they still had me on the IPhone data package. Get that changed, 3 phone calls, and 2 hours wasted to do so. Ok, have phone, update software, phone sucks! Browsers garbage, the 2 key keyboard thing is the worst idea since Bush as president. Useless damn phone. So, I'm working yesterday, it's like 4pm, gotta kill an hour before I can go home (damn gps in the work vans). So, fuck it. I'm buying a new damn phone.

Go to the local Future Shop, start looking around. Now, knowing that I'll be paying full price (no contract renewal available to me. I spot one I like.

Geezum! $550 plus $100 for a Sandisk 16 gig micro-sd card. Turns out I don't even need the card, as the phone comes with a 16 gigger in it.

Ah well, switched data plans again, activated new phone, updated software, started browsing. Hmm, pretty kewl. MONSTROUSLY big screen, a keyboard that you can actually use. Apps for it all over the place, 8.1 megapixel camera, software that makes sense (very intuitive), and almost every ap that I liked on the IPhone. Wallet took a beating but I've got a phone I'm actually happy with.
