I was using the one thing that came with Avast originally to get rid of registry problems, but it was only like a 14-day trial for that part of it... now I can't use it. I'd like to get rid of any registry things that I don't need that I can, just to be safe.

It's like having a bunch of empty folders in your C:\ drive. What you want to look out for are shared files, and startup items in the registry (with matching file names to your trojans). Those are the biggest concerns when dealing with spyware. | |||

I'll be on after the game. Running Kaspersky online right now... so far it's picked up 60 threats with 6 different names. Way to miss those, Avast...
