Re: Lag @ my dorm
Wired? Test with speedtest.net or the tools at dslreports.com.

Re: Lag @ my dorm
I've got a tool that will automatically adjust all the nerd stuff for you (max MTU, TCP receive window etc). Run speedtest.net to figure out your existing max bandwith. Keep the "use optimal settings" box checked and move the slider to your highest score on the speed test. Click apply changes, and it will automatically put a backup of your old settings in the same directory as the program.

Re: Lag @ my dorm
The program cut the lag maybe in half, but i'm still getting worse than normal high ping (100-200) even tho I'm on a faster college connection

Re: Lag @ my dorm
Best solution: Go to records office and request an official transcript. Then mail that to a school near by your house and get accepted there so you can play from your house. If not accepted just do what your father does already and screw school. Most likely you are not going to learn much! Whatever job you get they will make sure that you ll sweat your ass from training and running around!
Good enough? |
