My friend is getting this deal, but looks like they changed it to one vid card cause it says comes equipped with A ati radeon 4870 gfx card, which sucks a little

I have some "nice things," but that's because I'm from the school of having patience to get what you really want, instead of going after the instant gratification. If you're going to spend upwards of $1500 on a computer, you might as well go all the way. Not getting the second gfx card would be like buying a Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe with a plastic dashboard instead of the wood-grain.

But, putting in the second card would make the comp 2000+ now cause the 2nd card is 350-400 up here which makes it pointless, especially if ur on a budget, and hell need to change the psu aswell cause i think its a low 500w one that comes with the system. 2 4870s dont add much performance unless its at high resolutions.
