Gun rights in relation to Terrorism

I just read this and looked at some of it, I'm not sure how accurate it is but it's slightly disturbing.

Re: Gun rights in relation to Terrorism
Make no mistake... Rahm Emanuel (yeah I realize nobody elected this man for anything) made it clear, gun control/possible bans are coming under this administration.

They are definitely going to try, the only question is will the people let it happen...

Re: Gun rights in relation to Terrorism
Only if we let it happen. Granted, there's a large majority of us that are lazy, and have been conditioned to think that somebody else will take care of the issues, there's still plenty of us with a head on our shoulders.

Re: Gun rights in relation to Terrorism
A lot of the hand guns and ammos (9mm, 40 S&W, 45, etc.) are out of stock here in NM. The Obama effect have been in effect since November.

Obama better not knock on my door... and I make my own ammo.

Re: Gun rights in relation to Terrorism
Hunt is a domestic terrorist.

You guys crack me up... I guess you didn't really read/follow through on the article.

The real point was that past laws/bills past allow the government to declare "suspected" individuals as terrorists, even if the only thing they did was lawfully buy a gun. Let me remind you that most laws/acts that are referenced or related were passed before Obama came into office.....

As for guns being out of stock, this is due to all the rednecks (no offense but I read multiple articles on this) rushing out and buying all the guns and ammo that they could in the fear of having them banned.

I'm a gun enthusiast myself and I love marksmanship competitions but I still believe that automatic firearms are dangerous in the hands of people. However, it's still clear that criminals still get their hands on them and this belief is kinda of silly in that respect. IDK the answer to this fucking paradox but it's clear that reform is needed (no I don't mean that more guns should be banned), I'm suffering to better regulation of who gets guns and stricter laws regarding illegally acquired firearms. Funny thing is, you can create your own firearm and it would be perfectly legal, even if it's full auto. I've even seen local gangs buy street made uzi's and somehow they are legal.

Re: Gun rights in relation to Terrorism
Dear Senator:

I am particularly concerned about sections 13101 through 13434 of the new bailout bill (HR 1). These sections would set up the infrastructure to computerize the medical records of ALL AMERICANS in a government-coordinated database, including psychiatric records.

It is scary enough that a government bureaucrat is directed by statute to try to influence my doctor’s decisions with respect to my medical care.

But of even greater concern to gun owners is the fact that a government-coordinated database will now contain all records of government-provided and private psychiatric treatment.

Last year’s “NICS Improvement Act” codified ATF’s attempts to make a person a prohibited person on the basis of a government psychiatrist’s finding that he is a “danger” –- without a finding by any court. Well, roughly 150,000 battle-scarred veterans have already been unfairly stripped of their gun rights by the government.

Now, this new government-coordinated database threatens the gun rights of people who, as kids, were diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder… seniors with Alzheimer’s… police with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder… and many other law-abiding Americans.

Please vote against cloture on HR 1 until this provision is removed.

Sincerely,

Re: Gun rights in relation to Terrorism
Emmm, I support above provision. Although it's hard to classify people in general, if you have had psych issues I'd rather not have you handling firearms, thank you very much.

I like the 2 black rifles too, the only rifle I have looks like the one to the right of the higher black rifle - 4 o'clock position.

Re: Gun rights in relation to Terrorism
Nice gun collection Hunt, and some black power rifles to round it out... very nice. The only guns I have is a Ak-47 (milled reciever not stamped) and a Cz-52 pistol and a single shot mossberg shotgun.

Also you have a very nice muniton set up. Do you load all your own or mainly your hunting ammo?
