Re: Economic Collapse
Folks, let me fill you in on a few things about the Nafta super highway. First of all it no longer exists. The Texas legislature and the people of Texas put the kibosh on this stupid idea. Took a long time but it isn't gonna happen. How do I know this. First of all, I live here in Texas, second my inlaws live in the former right of way of the TTC and third my mother works for TxDot. This was another "How can I bank roll myself" idea from Gov. Good Hair of Texas.
Next the idea of a North American Union is absurd. As a proud member of the State of Texas, I can say that a majority of the state has the opinion of what the fuck do we need mexico for. (Half of them are here already." Most Texans has this view of Canada: "It is a country full of trees... oh and some folks live there." I know it sounds like they are describing a ewok village but Canada is so far from Texas most people don't care. (Canada has some very nice people though.) Yet, back to the Amero and the NAU. Every one for the last 60 years or so, or actually since we left the gold standard. (Which was a good idea.) the concept of the failing dollar has been around. Well, I hate to break the news, it is still gonna be around.

As far as the economic collapse. Personally, I don't see it as a collapse. I see it as a correction. For far to long we have had economic bubbles to prop shit up. I doubt any stimulus is gonna help. There are far too many people with their head up their ass, looking to save their own shit, who helped cause this crap in the first place and it will probably get worse till it gets better. I have seen predictions for a new American Revolution. Ya right... we're to damn lazy for that. I have seen predictions of a new world war. In which case the economy will be a moot point unless you are a twinkie or have 10 million SPF sunblock. (I think the only thing that will survive the next war is roachs and walmart.)

So the best thing to do is get you a lawn chair, a bag a chips, smoke a bowl and swig down some tequila and enjoy the fucking ride. Smile Smile Smile Smile
