Re: The AA United Clans (AAUC)
Personally not a fan of the idea - but like you said trying it is the only way you'll see if it works

Goodluck tho.

Re: The AA United Clans (AAUC)
This is something I think will work brilliantly!!! And actually, already has. There was a few clans that had issues in the past, and with level headed thinking a little moderation, those same clans worked together, came to an understanding and from what I understand, all is good. :ymhug: Now, you factor in similar situations, ie, he said, she said, he did, no he didn't, etc. etc. and when you add in some calmer cooler heads, people can actually get their point across and allow themselves to understand what the other person(s) is saying. I can see this as preventative maintenance rather than rebuilding a blown engine. Ie, fix a small problem early, and don't allow it to turn into a HUGE issue later on.

Re: The AA United Clans (AAUC)
Well from my experience in this game..fun wont make u play this game forever, acctualy ull play it for a while than get borred and play other game for fun.
When u take it serious u play for something:for exemple Honnor, Kills or god knows what. That is the only thing that makes aao still a played game.Look at tracker..more than half of the ppl that play aao are registered members at tracker..they play for fun and also for stats.Stats keep the game alive and discipline in it.
So perfect aao player should be like: 70% fun and 30%tryng to do something.
Imo some serious things are welcome, they bring a challange to the game, and a reason to get further with aao.
Its just my opinion, everybody has one Tongue

Re: The AA United Clans (AAUC)
we dont have an actual leader in LAG anymore, but i have to stay in touch with other clans, so i think that will be my responsibility to do this Big Grin

@ faith: a lot of the members only play this game just cause they can play it with their online friends, for me thats the most important thing

This has happened a few times. The important thing is to keep it GOING and on TRACK which this group would help ensure.
Good post Sneye

Oh yea, only the leaders and an assistant. Looking at all the negative comments in this thread seems to come from
NON LEADERS !!!! But when shit hits the fan for them personally they look for help.

Re: The AA United Clans (AAUC)
The whole idea is to have an organization in which all clans can participate in. It should be inclusive. Even the small clans can have some input. Information can be passed instantly as well as access to computer help, hacker information, trouble-makers can be tracked and eliminated from servers, negotiations can take the place of flaming and rants.

This will also give us all more influence if we're represented as a whole to dev's and AA administration. I believe we could get Pragmatic Solutions on board for this as well.

We can have a separate section of the forums for each clan, to post information and general chat for themselves. There will be opportunities to ask for input from other clans on how they solved certain problems. The resources of all the member clans can be a very powerful asset to all of us.

Of course, the charter member clans will have a positioning advantage over clans that join later, as the charter member clans will be setting the direction for the group as a whole. Imagine an INCLUSIVE organization that listens to their members? As a group we have an opportunity to influence new clans and help set them on successful paths. Can anyone think of some clans that would benefit from the experience of some of the oldest and most respected clans in AA?

This organization can be the lifeline for this game as it changes. With 3.0 around the corner, a central group that can pass data, information, techniques, glitches, hacker and cheater information on to each other could be the glue that binds all of us together in the long run. The more quality clans we can get to support this idea, the easier it will be to convince new and struggling clans to join and receive the help they need to succeed.

The benefits of a large body that encourages good dialogue and civil negotiations to solve problems, instead of going to a clan's forums and getting flamed by every squirrel that shouldn't be involved in the first place, are obvious. We need MORE civil communication and less e-drama! The LEADERS of these clans can lead by example in negotiating in good faith with other clans when they have a dispute. The voice of reason and logic can be VERY convincing.

Get behind this, and get in on the GROUND FLOOR of this organization!!

=[C]=Companyman
=[C]= and damned proud of it!

I'd like to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my ass!
