You pay taxes to run the country... Gov decides to spend the cash... due to the economic crisis they are giving/spending the money to stimulate the economy, i.e. send money to States for different purposes, such as money for energy transition, etc.

The argument wasn't the point. The point was states declaring their sovereignty in order to check the Federal Government. This whole thing is on thin ice right now.

I remember watching that vid a week or so ago. Theres a lot more of that type of stuff going on, and picking up speed. Some people are actually paying attention to whats going on, instead of making cynical sarcastic remarks to avoid an actual intelligent discussion or debate.

since you mentioned glen beck, i had watched this vid earlier. there are a few people in media starting to speak up, or perhaps its just a few more people actually listening.

First of all this guy is wayyyyy off base. Any consitutional lawyer will tell you that this resolution would be illegal under the Consitution do at the very least to the refference to the Judical Branch of the Federal Government. The Judical Branch, AKA the Supreme Court has ruled on several occasions that Congress can make laws concerning the states IF the Union has a legitimate interest and compelling interest. Also this guy seems to be going on the premise of the Federal/Anti Federalist papers, which themselves can be interpeted 10 ways to Sunday. No matter who you debate it there is one fact that will remain.
